Pittsburgh

Area of Oakland where we are staying is on the center of everything. We spent the first day 9/24at the Carnegie Art and Natural History Museum and really enjoyed it. Earth science,gems and minerals in the am and art in pm and into the evening. Nice meal at Legume not all veggies!

On Friday, we visited the Cathedral of learning a 42 foot structure on Pitt campus with nationality classrooms..we saw 1, the Heinz chapel ,the Stephen Foster museum, the Phipps conservatory, walked through the Carnegie Mellon campus and  in the evening went to Heinz Concert Hall for a great concert by the Pittsburgh Symphony as planned. Ride complimentary by Wyndham going downtown.taxi back $12.
