9/14-9/17 Yosemite

Drove to Yosemite after seeing the giant redwoods north entering on rt 120. First stop revealed the results of a fire 3 years ago- bare mountains. We also got a look at the stone faced mountains as we proceeded to rt 41 and to our motel just south in Fish Camp. We saw El Capitan,picnicked at Cathedral points, observed the falls with no water, and photoed Half Dome first on 9/15 then on 9/16 from Glacier Point. Also hiked to Taft Point where several fissures were present: Amazing!
